Books that balance. Statements you can trust.
Libro is double-entry accounting for growing Filipino businesses. Every entry has two sides and the sides agree, and every figure on every statement comes straight from posted entries.

Built for serious bookkeeping.
The whole of the books for a business with more than one branch, and nothing that pretends.
Vouchers that must balance
Debits equal credits before a voucher can be saved. Libro shows the difference on the form, line by line, while you type.
Draft, approve, post
A voucher starts as a draft, is approved, then posted. Only a posted voucher reaches the ledger, and who moved it is on record.
Reverse, never rewrite
Reversing a posted voucher creates its mirror, debits and credits swapped, and links the two. The original stays exactly as it was.
Close the month
Lock a fiscal period when it is done. Nothing can be posted into a closed period, so last month's figures stay last month's figures.
A general ledger you can read
Every posted line, by account and by period, with running balances kept for you.
A starter chart of accounts
Assets, liabilities, equity, revenue and expenses, already grouped, coded and ready. Add your bank accounts and go.
The life of a journal voucher.
Four states, and none of them is “edit it later”.
- 01 · Draft
A bookkeeper writes the entry. Debits must equal credits, or it won't save.
- 02 · Approved
The finance manager checks it. Their name stays on it.
- 03 · Posted
The accountant posts it to the ledger. From then on it can't be edited.
- 04 · Reversed
A mistake gets a mirror entry, linked to the original. Never an eraser.

Honest answers.
Do I need to know accounting to use Libro?
No. Libro comes with a starter chart of accounts and won't let an unbalanced entry through, so the rules are enforced for you. If you work with a bookkeeper or an accountant, they will feel at home.
Can several people use it, each with their own job?
Yes. A bookkeeper drafts vouchers for one branch, a finance manager approves, the accountant posts and closes the month, the owner sees everything, and an auditor can read without changing a thing.
Does Libro do invoicing, bills or bank feeds?
Not yet. Libro is the core of the books: the journal, the ledger, period close and the financial statements. They can be built on top of it for a business that needs them.
Can I get my data out?
Always. Every list and report exports to PDF or Excel.
How do I get Libro?
